The Vivo S series has been always a contender in the midrange segment in China. Now, several leaked posters indicate that their upcoming release on the lineup will be a heavy hitter.
Running under the hood of the smartphone is a MediaTek Dimensity 1100. This is a slight step down, at 2.6GHz, from the Dimensity 1200 that runs at 3GHz. Although a watered down version, this chip still rivals against the top shelf of last year from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 865.
Along with a powerful processing package is a promising sounding main camera as well. It is a 108MP shooter leading the multiple rear camera array.
Other details include the support of up to 4GB virtual RAM on top of its 8GB RAM and paired with UFS 3.1 storage. The battery charges at 44W as well.The display is known to be an AMOLED panel with a notch design housing two front cameras. It also runs on Android 11 on top of OriginOS skin.
As of writing, its other specifications such as the other cameras, their resolution and functionalities. The exact battery capacity and the display is also left blank as well. Its launch date and if the device will launch in other markets is not known as well
