POCO, via an online livestream, has launched the POCO M3 Pro in the Philippines. The device is aimed to be one of the most inexpensive 5G devices to be launched locally. With the regular price below PHP 10,000, it offers a set of features that is unheard of at the price point.
What makes the POCO M3 Pro 5G capable is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor inside. In terms of performance, benchmarks of some devices equipped with the said chip usually hover around against the Snapdragon 730 series. It is also power efficient with the SoC built on a 7nm manufacturing node. This is paired of either 4GB RAM and 64GB storage or 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
display gets some treatment as well with the inclusion of 90Hz high refresh rate support. Other than that, it is a punchhole display at the top center that stretches at 6.5 inches diagonally. It is a Full HD IPS panel.
For the cameras, the device touts three rear shooters with it lead by a 48MP snapper and two 2MP sensors. The sensor residing at the cutout on the display is an 8MP shooter.
It has a 5000mAh battery that charges at 18W fast charging with the inclusion of a 22.5W charger in box. It runs on Android 11 on top of MIUI 12.
Availability of the device is on Lazada Philippines starting today, as of writing June 3, up to June 4. It can be availed at PHP 7490 and PHP 9490 for the higher and lower variants as early bird price. Standard pricing of the device is at PHP 8990 and 11990.
