Even in Xiaomi’s own hometown, China, the Redmi Note series has been known to be the budget series delivering different sets of features and above average price to performance ratio that sets up the standards amongst competitors. The next iteration of the Redmi Note series, the Redmi Note 10 Chinese version, will be a trio of devices with MediaTek Dimensity chips under their hoods.

As for the standard Redmi Note 10, the device is said to have MediaTek’s Dimensity 700. Notably, the phonemaker has released a device with the same name with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 which is also destined to be based of off thr POCO M3 Pro 5G.

On the other hand, the Pro version of the device will have the newly released MediaTek Dimensity 900. The chip is said to outperform the Snapdragon 768G scoring 480,000 in AnTuTu v9. This is in between to the scores of the Snapdragon 780G at 540,000 which is on par roughly on the Snapdragon 855.

A step up from the Pro version, under the Redmi Note 10 series still, will have the MediaTek Dimensity 1100. The chip is the Taiwanese chipmaker’s flagship silicon which is built on 6nm, has ARM Cortex A78 and a flagship Mali G77 GPU with nine shader cores. The chip usually exchange blows against the Snapdragon 865 in terms of benchmarks.

As for the release and other specifications of the devices, they are currently under wraps.
