New information leaks out regarding about the successor of the Honor X10. The Honor X series is originally made to compete against the Redmi Note series. With the brand under Huawei’s umbrella last time, the Honor X10 hasn’t reached global markets.
A tipster on Weibo, named @馬然熊猫, has shed information about the upcoming device. The tipster stated that the X20 will have a MediaTek Dimensity 1200. The chip is a 6nm TSMC manufactured silicon which has the ARM Cortex-A78 architecture with the beefed up Mali G77 MC9 GPU.
As of the credibility of the tipster, he was the same source of the key information regarding upcoming devices such as the Vivo NEX 5 and Vivo X70 series.
The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 has already appeared on the Realme GT Neo and shows promising performance even tied to the Snapdragon 870 from Qualcomm on some benchmarks.
As of the Honor X series, the brand made changes to it since last launch. First is the branding with the X now preceding the number from Honor 9X to Honor X10.
Other specifications of the device are not known, so as its launch.
