After all the teasers of its features for the past several days, right on schedule, Redmi unveils their latest take on the flagship killer formula also under the K40 lineup. The device is dubbed as the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition.
Like its K40 brothers, it has flagship specifications at a market shocking asking price. What differs it from the K40 and K40 Pro(+), is its aesthetic is inspired of a much more gaming approach.
Like the other K40 models, the K40 Game Edition has a Full HD Super AMOLED display. The media renderer has a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate capabilities.
Separating it from the others, this has a MediaTek Dimensity 1200. The chip is a 6nm octacore silicon manufactured by TSMC which clocks at 3GHz. It has the Mali G77 MC9 GPU chugging the games. The chip manages to achieve of over 720,000 in AnTuTu v9, which basically ties up or even outperforms the Snapdragon 870 by just.
Complimenting the gaming part of the device, the processor is coupled with a 5065mAh cell which charges at 67W. Redmi claims that it can fully charge the device within 42 minutes.
The device as a triple rear camera setup which is lead by a 64MP shooter, accompanied by 8MP and 2MP sensors. The camera on the front, situated at the top center of the display at the punchhole is a 16MP shooter.
Chinese prices of the device are listed on the poster above. Redmi also released a limited edition Bruce Lee Edition which is a 100CNY premium over the top model.
