The Zenfone lineup quite of recent has been only flagship devices as the phonemaker cuts its focus on specific regions. Leaked information of three devices may continue that trend.
One of the devices has a model number of ZS590KS under the codename “Sake”, the tipster claimed that it will features the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform which may lead to believe that this is one of ASUS’ Zenfone flagship device. Aside from that, the display will be a 120Hz refresh rate Full HD panel, it is unknown if the phone would have an AMOLED panel though. Two camera sensors were given alongside the information namely, Sony IMX 686, a 64MP shooter which was found on midrange devices and an IMX 663.
The second device, ZS673KS will also have a Snapdragon 888, a higher fresh rate Full HD panel at 144Hz. A main Sony IMX 686 camera sensor.Also another device with the codename Vodka will also feature the Snapdragon 888.
On the other hand, a device codenamed “Picasso” will have a smorgasbord of Omnivision sensors for it’s camera setup.
By the looks of the leaked information, this might be an upcoming flagship series with powerful camera setups and above average displays.
