Samsung launches two new entry level devices under the F series lineup. Dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy F12 and F02s. The two have large batteries, multi rear camera setups and entry level performance as their offering.
As a summary, the F02s has a Snapdragon 450 chipset. Powering inside the device is an entry level chipset way back in 2017. The processor is backed by up to 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. Its display measures at 6.5-inches diagonal with a 720p resolution. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery and is capable of 15W fast charging. Other features of the device include a 3.5mm headphone jack and runs on Android 10. The rear camera array of the F02s is composed of a 13MP main camera and a duo of 2MP shooters, the selfie camera at the front is a 5MP sensor.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy F12 has an improved processor with a much more recent and power efficient Exynos 850. The display gets a bump up in refresh rate at 90Hz while retaining the display size and resolution. The battery gets a 20% boost from the F02s at 6000mAh while charging at the same power rating at 15W. Its photography prowess gets an upgrade as well with a 48MP main sensor backed up by a 5MP and two more 2MP shooters. The selfie camera is 8MP this time. Pther features include a 3.5mm headphone port, side mounted fingerprint scanner and runs on Android 11.
The F02s and F12 start at INR 8999 and 10999 respectively in India respectively. Prices convert to PHP 5.9K and PHP 7.2K. It is unclear whether the devices will land in the Philippines.
