Realme GT Neo Launches In China As Flagship Killer With MediaTek Dimensity 1200

Flagship killer smartphones usually carry chips from Qualcomm like previous generation chips such as the Snapdragon 870. Although, Realme China packed their latest flagship killer with MediaTek’s highest end processor to date for smartphones, the MediaTek Dimensity 1200.

MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 is a 6nm flagship processor developed by the Taiwanese chipmaker with ARM Cortex A78 cores running at a maximum of 3.0GHz clock frequency. Leaked benchmarks of the processor show parity with the Snapdragon 870 in terms of AnTuTu version 9 scores. The processor is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Device’s camera is conposed of three main rear shooters with a 64MP main shooter leading it. The 16MP selfie camera is situated at the front display. The display at the front measures at a 6.43-inch diagonal, it is Full HD Super AMOLED which refreshes at 120Hz.

Phone is capable of 50W fast charging which will fill the 4500mAh power pack. It retails in China for 1799CNY or PHP 13.3K equivalent. For its asking price, realme manages to pull out another compelling device in terms of on paper specifications atleast in China.
