At schedule, Realme announces their mainstream lineup for midrange devices now at its eighth generation with the realme 8 series. The devices are similar to their preceding devices with some slight key upgrades.

The Pro version notably has the 108MP main camera. This is the first realme device to have a 108MP camera even frontrunning their flagship devices from the X lineup. The standard version, on the other hand, now has a Super AMOLED panel alike to the Pro version. 

Aside from the said differences, the realme 8 series remain very similar to the 7 series. Both devices retain their processors, the MediaTek Helio G95 and Snapdragon 720G. Both devices have ample amount of storage and RAM configurations.

Batteries are rated at 5000mAh and 4500mAh with charging capabilities of 30W and 50W for the standard and Pro versions respectively. Specifications and prices of the devices for the Indian variant are listed below.
