ASUS, since three years ago, has been putting out ROG smartphones to the market as focused on smartphone gaming. With smartphone gaming in the trend, the firm is not stopping in releasing devices and is now teasing an ROG smartphone.
Specifications were not disclosed on the teaser, but it is safe to assume that ASUS will be stuffing in Qualcomm’s best, the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform inside.
Along the Snapdragon 888 is copious amounts of RAM and storage, though unknown if they will pack in capabilities for expandable storage. The headphone port is not expected with the upcoming device as ASUS has already removed it with their third iteration. A large lump sum battery and a decent fast charging technology is expected as well.
It is also quite mandatory, as its predecessors have, that the device will also come with accessories dedicated for hardcore smartphone gaming.
No solid dates have been announced, but it is expected to be another contender in the smartphone gaming space along with Xiaomi’s Black shark and Red Magic competitors.
