Another new handset from Samsun, model SM- M625F, has been spotted on Geekbench. Interestingly, the device harbors an old Exynos 9825 processor.

As a refresher, the South Korean firm used the Exynos 9825 chip to power the Galaxy Note 10 series. It should mean excellent performance, even for a chip that is technically two generations behind compared to the flagship processors of today.

Plus, Samsung with their M series, usually position them at the lower tier of devices which includes its price.

Aside from the processor, it comes with 6GB RAM and is powered by Android 11.

Another possible selling point of this device is an appearance of a whopping 7,000mAh battery capacity which was identified by FCC earlier on.

A powerful and former flagship Exynos chip and industry leading battery capacity is an excellent entry and a welcome addition from Samsung in its midrange segment.

The device already bagged multiple certifications in the past so its launch maybe just around the corner. Availability of the alleged M62 is not known.

When it comes to using old flagship SoCs, Samsung already did this with their Galaxy Note 10 Lite which was then powered by an Exynos 9810.
