ZTE grabbed headlines last year as the first manufacturer to release a device with an under display camera commercially or that can be bought. Just recently, their CEO has teased another device in the pipeline that would succeed the Axon 20.
On Weibo, ZTE CEO Ni Fei has teased that there will be another device joining the under display camera device category. Him implying that this move has been caused by many manufacturers has a fair share of news when it comes to this technology.
Its exact launch is not disclosed, no clues of which device is being implied by the CEO as well.
As a refresher, the Axon 20 featured an under display camera at the top center of the large Full HD display. It also has a Snapdragon 765G for performance and also featured a quad camera system. Large amounts of RAM and storage is accompanied with the processor as well.
Not only the device has an under display camera for its selfies, but also the device supports 5G network capabilities as the integrated 5G modem with the Axon 20 is capable to do so.
