Blackshark and Redmi, in the previous years, has released flagship devices and has been pretty popular within the budget flagship segment. This new rumor may extend that trend even further next year.
Digital Chat Station from Weibo has stated that the two are preparing their flagship device equipped with the newly launched Snapdragon 888 mobile platform just released recently.
Starting with Blackshark, the leakster stated that the phone maker will have a better designed device. A revamped design is welcoming, since they are known for their aggressive gamer approach with aesthetics. Aside from that, the charging capabilities are “worth looking forward to”, he quoted. That may mean that there are upgrades compared to the predecessor. It is worth noting that the Blackshark 3 series has a maximum charging rating of 65W, already blistering fast. Though the upgrade wasn’t said, whether it would be the rating, thermals or other tech. The device they are working on is codenamed “Emperor”.
As for Redmi, he implied that the company will be releasing the device way earlier than its predecessor, the Redmi K30 Pro. The K30 Pro was released late March of this outgoing year, so we may see a February or even a late January launch.
