In our real world tests, the Seagate Portable SSD 500GB managed 320 MB/s Read, while doing about 100 MB/s Write. Pretty reasonable for a budget SSD drive.

In the synthetic CrystalDiskMark 8.0.1, we got 437.59 MB/s Read, while doing 117.71 MB/s Write.

The Seagate 500GB Portable SSD is priced at about PHP 5,000 or US$ 100, and given that budget internal SSD’s aren’t that much cheaper we think the value is pretty good for this portable drive. We might do a follow up after we use it for a while to see how it holds up though.
