Xiaomi Mi 11, A 2021 Flagship Launched This 2020. Snapdragon 888, Quad HD OLED + 120Hz Xiaomi preemptively released a taste of their new formulas for next year, 2021. The Mi 11 has 2021 specifications, packing the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip, making it the first device to do so. Aside from that, the Chinese firm has let out its big guns for the device.

This year, Xiaomi has upgraded their screen to a Quad HD sharpness effort, up from their 1080p resolution since the Xiaomi Mi 3, roughly for 7 years. The new display is from Samsung that refreshes at 120Hz. It is large at a 6.81 inch diagonal and is curved at all four sides of the device.

The Mi 11 also has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Its stereo speakers are also tuned by Harman Kardon.

For the cameras, it has a three-way setup. A 108MP shooter is leading the pack, Samsung’s Bright HMX sensor which was found on the Mi Note 10 and Mi 10 series. This is backed up by a 13MP ultrawide shooter with a 123 degree wide angle of view. The last camera is a 5MP shooter tasked to shoot telephoto capabilities and macro shots. The selfie camera is located on the top left of the curved display snug inside the punch-hole cutout.

A sizeable 4,600mAh cell powers through all this hardware which can be refilled as fast as 55W with wired charging and 50W for wireless charging. The cell can also give out its juice as the device is capable of 10W reverse wireless charging.

In China, at least, Xiaomi has stated that they will offer an option for the user to bundle the Mi 11 with the power brick or not, both at the same price. The device’s prices are indicated below. It is available in White, Blue, Black, Purple Faux Leather, and Khaki.

Also available is a Mi 11 signature edition, which has a iridescent blue hue finish on the rear with Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun’s signature on the device’s rear.
