As far as gaming phones go, Asus’ ROG Phones have always been the best every generation. And now, thankfully Asus Philippines is launching the ROG Phone 3 at almost the same release window as the rest of the world. Which means we Filipinos can enjoy the speed and power of the phone for longer, which is always a great thing.

The Asus ROG Phone 3 will have essentially 2 variants – the Strix Edition and the Classic edition. The Strix variant packs a Snapdragon 865 processor with 8GB / 512GB configuration for only PHP 39,995 – while the Classic Edition packs a more powerful Snapdragon 865+ and in 12 or 16GB variants with the same amount of ROM storage for the price of PHP 49,995 & PHP 54,995 respectively.

So the price technically didn’t move from last year’s edition, but there is a cheaper variant with a slightly less powerful processor. Its not a bad idea, and all variants come with some of the most gaming-centric specs and features on any smartphone so it comes up to be a pretty interesting device.

All variants will be packing 144Hz 1ms displays, dual stereo speakers, 6,000mAh batteries, touch-based Air triggers on the side of the phone, upgraded RGB lighting and cooling solutions, and a host of peripherals that could elevate your gaming experience even more.

There really is not much to say about it – the ROG Phone 3 has the most complete Android gaming experience to date, and you can buy them on August 22 at ASUS and ROG accredited stores – no pre-ordering needed!

Asus is also offering some fancy freebies for the phone – all purchases will come with an Aero Case, AeroActive Cooler 3, and a Type C to 3.5mm Jack dongle. (The ROG P3 doesn’t have a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack.)

And there’s extra freebies for early buyers – the ROG Special Hoodie, and ROG Phone Bag. Asus says the value of both is PHP 5k.
