As part of their 10th year in the industry, the Chinese giant introduced the Mi 10 Ultra to the market. The Mi 10 Ultra might be their best device yet, with it offers high numbers in terms of specifications such as 120W fast charging, 120X maximum digital zoom and 120Hz screen refresh rate. Aside from that, features commonly found on higher end devices such as the processor, build quality, camera et al.

A glass-aluminum sandwich feel and build is given to the handset. The front exhibits the 6.67-inch Full HD AMOLED display. This is identical to the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro released earlier this year with a cutout. Though this time, Xiaomi opted a panel that refreshes at 120Hz.

Harnessed within the chassis is the Snapdragon 865 with the Adreno 650 graphics. Up to 512 gigabytes of storage and 16 gigabytes of LPDDR5 RAM are rendered for storage and multitasking purposes. It doesn’t support Micro SD card expansion.

Photography-wise, the quad camera system on the rear is present with different capabilities in terms of photos. Managing with the main shots is the 48 megapixel camera. It bears a 1/1.32-inch sensor size and harbors OIS and EIS. This is also true with the periscope camera. A 48 megapixel sensor with OIS and EIS which is capable of a maximum of 120x digital zoom. A 20 megapixel ultrawide camera is on duty for wide shots that range for up to 128° FOV. Lastly, a 12 megapixel portrait camera completes the setup. For selfies, the 20 megapixel resides at the cutout. Thanks to this setup, DXOMark has rated the Mi 10 Ultra as the new topdog in their rankings beating even Huawei, Samsung, and Apple’s offerings.

Cached inside is a 4,500mAh battery which can top up hastily via Xiaomi’s 120W fast charging technology in just 23 minutes. It can also be energized through wireless charging at 50W which will take 40 minutes. Topping up other devices with the handset is also a choice with 10W of reverse wireless charging.

Other features include 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, and dual speakers.
