The new 2020 Samsung Galaxy Note has just been announced at today’s Galaxy Unpacked, and its clearly an interesting update to one of our favorite stylus capable phone. Here’s a bunch of the details you should know!
The Galaxy Note 20 comes in two main variants here in the Philippines – the Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra. Gone is the Plus variant and replaced with the Ultra. And the Ultra packs a large 6.9″ display with WQHD AMOLED display and 120Hz, so we finally get the stylus capable phone with high refresh rate.
The Note 20 packs a more standard 1080P 60Hz Display, but both will be packing a new Exynos 990 processor here in the Philippines. (Snapdragon 865+ on other countries.)
New features in the Note line include AI prediction for the stylus input – therefore lowering the response to 9 milliseconds to see your writing or drawing on the screen.
Aside from all that you get some interesting new features in the video recording as 21:9 ratio is now supported and 8K 24FPS recording like the Galaxy S20 earlier this year. And finally something new in the Dex space is Wireless Dex which is a new boon for productivity on-the-go as you no longer need cables to be productive. Here’s to hoping some of the older models get that feature too – crossing my fingers to have that on my S10 Plus.
Anyway, the full specs and pricing and pre-order details are below!
