OnePlus has been recently stepping into the game from the segment that they were known for back in the OnePlus One days. The OnePlus Nord has been confirmed to be the latest device from the company which is their new device that leers backs to the company’s roots.

Qualcomm has published a tweet claiming that the new OnePlus Nord will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. This is contrary to the earlier reports which it had a MediaTek Dimensity 1000. This also confirms the information shared by Max J. on Twitter. He stated that the device with a MediaTek Dimensity chip is a prototype and has been scrapped.
Max J. also provided more information about the device. Aside from the mobile platform that was confirmed, he also shared that the smartphone will have four cameras. Though, it is currently unclear if it will be all on the rear or a triple camera system and a lone selfie shooter.
In addition to that, new information surfaces from Twitter of what looks to be images from OnePlus’ official Instagram channel. It shows the new retail packaging of the device. Also, the launch date has been hinted on one of the photos showing “July 21st” on the flyer.
A refresher also that he also shared the “Nord” moniker first, which the company has recently confirmed.
Other specifications based on rumors are the AMOLED display at 1080p resolution at 90Hz refresh rate. The device also has the Warp Charge technology from the OnePlus 8 series.
