The Z1 to set foot on the Chinese Market this May 19. This will bring one of the more crucial mobile platforms in the Android space, the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+. MediaTek claims that this is their latest flagship chip to race with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and others.

As for the Z1, reports point that the Z1 is a repurposed iQOO Neo 3 with a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ and the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform swapped out. This means the device will include a 144Hz refresh rate display at Full HD resolution. The punch-hole cutout will be present at the panel. A 4,500mAh cell will be powering the device and have support for up to 44W fast charging.

The cameras is expected to remain the same to the Neo 3 as well. A 48MP main sensor accompanied by the other sensors with the same functionalities. The software is expected to be similar to the former as well. 

The price however is rumored to be lower than the Neo 3. This is because the Qualcomm platform has been swapped out in favor for a MediaTek solution. So, the Z1 is expected to be lower than 2698CNY or PHP 19K converted. 

Also, a poster has been revealed that they might be releasing a special version of the device. A hat of what appears to belong to Luffy from One Piece. This may indicate a special One Piece edition of the device.
