Honor is not yet done with their releases in this half of the year. Recently with their Honor 30S and the whole Honor 30 series, they have released 5G products in the upper tier of the segment. Today, the rumor mill has been compiled for their alleged budget 5G offering, the Honor X10.
Firstly, the Honor X10 was originally to be called as the Honor 10X, but the manufacturer has decided to rename the device. Along with the rumors are some specifications. These include the new Kirin 820 5G chip. The chip debut with the Honor 30S and is also used by the likes of the Huawei Nova 7 SE. The chip is positioned at the higher end of the market when it comes to performance. This also enables the device to natively support 5G networks.
Aside from that, the display of the device is said to be an LCD Full HD panel which refreshes at 90Hz. This is up to the standard of 2020, which is undoubtedly a year with high refresh rates even with budget offerings.
Lastly, the Honor X10 is equipped with a Sony IMX 600y sensor for the main camera. This was used with Huawei’s P30 Pro. This is intriguing to see to be offered at a potentially lower price. The launch date of the device is said to be at May 20 at China.
