Meizu 17 Specifications Surfaces, Snapdragon 865 And 90Hz Display

Chinese manufacturers are launching their flagship devices left and right. Today, Meizu and an alleged specification sheet of their upcoming flagship, the Meizu 17, surfaces. 

Meizu 17’s brawn will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, this is along with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X55 Modem for 5G network support. For the display, Meizu opted for a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. Along with the trend, the firm also equipped the display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Internals, aside from the system on a chip is LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. RAM and storage selections are 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and a 12GB+256GB combination. 

Photography-wise, the handset has four cameras in the rear. The camera array is leaded by a 64MP Samsung Bright GW1 sensor. Accompanying the Samsung sensor is three more cameras which is composed of an 8MP, a 5MP and a 2MP shooter for ultrawide, macro and depth ability.

As for pricing, the entry level 8GB+128GB variant will retail for 3999CNY. Although, the entry-level variant will only have the last generation LPDDR4X RAM equipped beside the processor. The higher variants are equipped with the LPDDR5 solution and will retail for 4299CNY and 4699CNY. This is for the 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants respectively. 

Converted to Philippine peso are PHP 28.7K, PHP 30.9K and PHP 33.7K from the entry level variant, ascending. The Meizu 17 launch is scheduled this April 17 in China.
