Samsung introduces two new devices under their midrange A lineup. These are the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G and A21.

The Galaxy A21 features a hole punch cutout in its display with the selfie camera, an Infinity-O display as Samsung calls it. The display reaches 6.5 inches in diagonal length. The selfie camera found on the hole is a 13MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

At the back is a pill-shaped module housing a total of four cameras. The primary camera is a 16MP shooter, this is helped by three other cameras, which are 8MP for ultrawide and two other 2MP setups for macro and depth.

An unspecified octa-core processor is powering the A21. This is aided with 3GB and 32GB memory solutions for RAM and internal storage.  The storage is known to be user-expandable via a MicroSD card.

A 4000mAh is cradling the device through usage which fills up via 15W fast charging.

Meanwhile, positioned higher on the A series of lineup is the Galaxy A71 5G. The A71 unveiled by Samsung recently has more punch than its A71 4G version.

For starters the display renders content with its 6.7-inch Infinity-O AMOLED panel. The selfie camera resides on the “O” or the punch-hole cutout on the display which has 32MP in its sensor.

The rectangular camera module returns from other Samsung devices and features a quad camera system. These are 64MP,12MP,5MP and a 2MP for main, ultrawide, macro and depth capabilities respectively.

Under the hood is Samsung’s in-house developed Exynos 980. This is found on some of vivo’s midrange devices launched in China. This features an integrated 5G modem in contrast with the Snapdragon 730 found on the 4G version. The processor is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for the memory department. The storage is expandable via a MicroSD solution for up to 1TB.

A 4500mAh cell keeps the device awake and energizes via 25W fast charging.

The two devices are expected to retail for about 300US$ and 600US$ respectively. These are PHP 15.3K and PHP 30.6K not official and directly converted. Availability in the Philippines is not hinted.
