Nokia 1.3 and Nokia 5.3 launched, price and specifications

Nokia launches two new smartphones, the Nokia 5.3 and Nokia 1.3, in its budget segment.

The Nokia 5.3 succeeds the Nokia 5.1. A big addition to the Nokia 5.x moniker is the quad rear camera setup, which is quite a jump from the lone shooter on the 5.1. It is composed of a 13MP main, a 5MP for wide shots and two 2MP sensor which are responsible for macro and depth.

The device has a 6.55″ display with an HD resolution and a waterdrop notch housing the 8MP selfie camera. Memory include 4/6GB RAM variants and 64/128GB storage options. A 4000mAh juices up the device on 10W charging. The handset is ran by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 mobile platform. Other features includes a headphone jack, USB-C, NFC and a fingerprint scanner. The device runs on Android 10.

On the other hand, the Nokia 1.3 is a budget-friendly device offering entry level specifications.

For starters, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 215, a gigabyte of RAM and 16GB storage.It is a while since a device is equipped with a Snapdragon 200 series chipset and a measly gigabyte of RAM.

The cameras are basic with an 8MP lone shooter on the rear and a 5MP selfie snapper. It ships with Google’s new Camera Go application.
It features a headphone jack, a Google Assistant button, a Micro-USB port and runs on Android 10 Go Edition for seamless usage on entry level specs.

Prices for the Nokia 5.3 starts at 189 Euros for the 4GB and 64GB variant. The Nokia 1.3 starts at 95 Euros. That is Php 10.3K and Php 5.2K straight out of conversion respectively. Local availability is yet to be announced.
