The realme 6i is the first smartphone to run with a MediaTek Helio G80 system on a chip. This is a step up from the Helio G70 found on the realme C3 both Indian and Southeast Asian versions. The MediaTek Helio G80, like the Helio G70, comes with a pair of Cortex A75 cores at 2GHz and half a dozen of Cortex A55 cores, this time with higher clock speeds at 1.8GHz, as opposed to the 1.7GHz on the G70. The GPU, Mali G52 2EEMC2 which is similar to the Helio G70, gets a bump up as well in the clock speeds at 950MHz. This is almost a 16% increase when it comes to clock speeds.

Aside from the processor, the device also comes with a quad-rear camera setup. The main shooter has a 48MP sensor underneath. The secondary camera serves as a ultra-wide shooter with an 8MP sensor. The two remaining cameras are for black and white or portrait shots and for macro capabilities. Both of them have a pair of 2MP sensors.

The device is packed with a 5000mAh cell and supports 18W fast charging. It also runs on realmeUI out of the box, based on the latest version on Android, Android 10. On the front is a 6.52-inch IPS LCD panel, 720p resolution and touts a mini-drop notch at the top housing the selfie camera that has a 16MP sensor.

It has launched in Myanmar for Ks. 249,900 for the 3GB/64GB storage option or about Php 9,100 and Ks. 299,900 or about Php 10,900 for the 4GB/128GB storage variant.
Local availability and prices are yet to be announced, stay tuned.
