Vlogging is becoming a popular new media platform these days and so more and more of us are interested in getting better at it. So for today’s mini review video, we check out a simple plug-in mic for smartphone vlogging: the Boya BY-A7H. Not a catchy name, but maybe the audio quality will be the catchy one. The Boya BY-A7H is available now and the lowest price we found is around PHP 773 / US$ 15. Not bad for the price and convenience – plus its definitely better than most built-in microphones for smartphones. Just do note that most brands don’t support external microphones on their default camera apps. If you want external mics supported by brands, make sure you let them know because its important for us content creator types!
