Xiaomi Mi AirDots Basic Unboxing & Impressions (Behind The Scenes)

In this video, we try to give you a look into what we actually do in a real unboxing scenario without all the fancy editing and crap most people associate with unboxing videos. In essence, most unboxing videos are pure fluff, and we don’t like fluff because they aren’t useful as actionable buying advice at all. So here’s a real behind-the-scenes look at our unboxing of the Xiaomi Mi AirDots Basic – a new, fully wireless earbud for PHP 1,200 / Est. US$25 – with real unscripted off-the-cuff opinions on the product.

Be warned that a lot of the video is about our raw impressions without a script, fluff editing, B-Roll, vloggy shots, or music. So it’s as raw as you can get. Some people will like the complete transparency of it, some people will prefer the scripted fluff variety. If you like the former, then check out the video embedded above.

There’s not much else to say about the product except they’re usually easily found in Shopee and Lazada from gray market sellers. They’re not available officially here, but there’s a ton of import versions for the aforementioned prices. They’re so ubiquitous that we don’t necessarily want to point you to one seller specifically, or we might later on if we ever get around to setting up those referrer links.
