If you follow digital mirrorless cameras at all, you’ll know that Sony’s A7 series are known to be some of the best. And one such type of A7 product specialization is the A7R in which the ‘R’ stands for resolution, as in high resolution. So it makes sense that the newest announced A7R IV packs a pretty big 61MP onto the full frame mirrorless body – a first of its kind.
Surprisingly, it also still does 4K video at with full pixel readout and S-Log and HLG HDR support. Whether or not that maters to you doesn’t always matter, because as far as these high end cameras go, the list of specs goes on and you’ll no doubt always find something to like. (And maybe dislike) So we’ll just let you decide by reading all of the most relevant specs below or watching the product feature video embedded above.
Sony A7R IV – Price TBA (Est. US$3,500 / Est. PHP 180,000)
The Philippine launch and availability hasn’t been announced yet for the A7R IV but knowing Sony it shouldn’t take too long. We estimate the camera to price in the PHP 200,000 range give or take. These cameras aren’t exactly priced lower than the rest of the world so expect a little premium for the white market release.
Anyway, stay tuned for any updates on this camera if you’re into high-end photography or videography!
