Xiaomi Philippines has been mostly mum on their new products so far, but now that’s changed with the addition of the Mi Pad & Redmi 2 on their list of devices. This, plus with the pricing information clearly visible on the page, might as well confirm that both will be coming soon. Specs and prices are below!

Most notable change here from the original Redmi 1S[4] to the new one is the Dual LTE connectivity and its new 64-Bit Snapdragon 410 processor. It still keeps the same 4.7″ size but improvements in design and ROM have also been implemented. Pretty promising, considering Xiaomi 8MP cameras have proven to be above average.

The Mi Pad is what you might consider the iPad killer of Xiaomi, with features like a similar 4:3 ratio display with “retina”-like resolution. What the Mi Pad offers though is its custom Android MIUI running NVIDIA’s powerful Tegra K1, and 2GBs of RAM for all your multitasking needs. People have been waiting for this powerhouse for a while, and soon you can get one for PHP 10,999.
