Yesterday, LG Philippines launched a few devices to their G series lineup – a couple of new smartphones, and the last one is an Android Wear smartwatch called the G Watch R. Built with stainless steel, genuine leather, and the world’s first fully circular P-OLED display (on a watch), the new wearable has been designed from the ground up to look like a classic luxury timepiece – and it does. Correction: We said the display was IPS on the video, but it is actually a P-OLED display. OLED displays are better for battery life particularly when the screen is DIM or using more black – essentially when the watch is on standby.
