What do you get when you combine forces with Motorola, HTC, Asus, and Google? You get the newest batch of Nexus devices powered by the newest iteration of Android – version 5.0 Lollipop. Motorola, the company formerly owned by Google, has come up with a beastly 5.96” phablet with Quad HD resolution and bleeding edge 2.7Ghz Quad-Core Snapdragon 805 processor. HTC brings us a 8.9” 4:3 ratio 2K display tablet with Boomsound and NVIDIA’s 64-bit Tegra K1 processor. Even Asus comes up big with a new TV Box called Nexus Player powered by a 1.8Ghz Quad-Core Intel Atom processor and optional Asus Gamepad. All of them will of course be running Android 5.0 Lollipop with all of its new features, though the prices are now less competitive and more at par with other Android OEMs. Specs, videos, and prices are below.
These new Nexus devices can be ordered this October and will be available in November. Of course though, that doesn’t necessarily mean here in the Philippines. We’ll likely get it a few months after, but here’s to a bold new generation of Androids with massive screens and more than Full HD resolutions!
