Good evening Battery Fight fans and welcome to a grudge match between two tablets from competing brands. On one corner we have a Call and Text capable Quad-Core MediaTek tablet from Cherry Mobile called the Superion Odyssey. And on the other corner we have Starmobile’s flagship tablet with a larger Full HD 1920×1200 IPS display and a Dual-Core Hyperthreading Atom processor. With different screens, battery capacities, and processors, it going to be hard to tell who’s going to take the win. So without further ado let’s start our main event! Hop over the jump below to see which one has better battery life!
Cherry Mobile Superion Odyssey – PHP 7,499
Starmobile Engage 9i – PHP 9,990
Alright, so there you have it fight fans, the Engage 9i wins! That’s probably to be expected since it has a larger 6,500 mAh Battery, and the energy efficient Atom processor might have helped – though we wanted to see if the larger Full HD display would have kept the battery life shorter. The Superion Odyssey did a great job and since it has Call & Text capabilities lands itself in a good high place in our phone rankings. Both tablets so far did good but we’ll soon compare them to other tablets in the space as well, so stay tuned for more!
