This next tutorial / video might not be for everyone. In fact, if you’re looking for gadget reviews and or news you might want to click away. But for you guys who are somewhat interested in video games and / or want to start a gaming YouTube channel or record your own games, then you might want to read / watch on. (Also, this isn’t necessarily just for games, but for video capture in general.) Most of the time video capture is straightforward, but when faced with certain devices like the Nexus 7 2013, the PS3, and PS4 you might run into the HDCP protection problem. Here’s a quick little setup that we use to remove the HDCP protection and get video out of this particular tablet. Your setup may vary slightly, but if you’re starting out this may help.

And so you now have a setup for recording HDCP protected content. That goes without saying that hopefully you’re not going to use this to pirate Blu-Rays with this, right? Have fun and go record your own games!
