Cherry Mobile Launches Flare 2.0–Most Affordable Quad-Core Device For Only PHP 4k

Last year, Cherry Mobile came out with a bang and started a massive trend of locally-branded android smartphones with the Flare – a PHP 4,000 Dual-Core android that ticks the right boxes enough to be a ridiculously popular phone for budget conscious consumers. This year, they’re upping the ante once more with the aptly named Flare 2.0. The new device retains the price (and most of the specs) of the original but brings it into the modern era with a powerful 1.2Ghz Quad-Core processor from Qualcomm.
