Just before Christmas last year Huawei held an event at SM North’s Cyberzone activity area to formally launch two new Android smartphones into the market – the Ascend D1 Quad XL and the Ascend G600 (Honor 2). These phones, are some of the more affordable devices for its specifications – particularly because the D1 Quad packs a Quad-Core Processor, 4.5” 720p Display, and a large battery for only PHP 18,990. Not to be outdone, the G600 (Honor 2) has the same sized display in qHD, Dual-Core processor, and is priced at only 13,990. Both of them have 8MP Cameras + LED Flash, Front Cameras, and running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
