When it comes to videos in our strong YouTube library, we’ve actually put a bunch out there that we haven’t written anything about yet (but planned to do one day). This is one of those videos. Filmed sometime in October last year and uploaded on the same day, this LG Optimus 3D interview (preview) has been waiting for its day to shine – and today is that day. We should all know what its about though, right? The Optimus 3D is one of the first smartphones that had the capability to show 3D movies, pictures, and games – all without needing the use of 3D glasses. (You can also take 3D pictures and videos with its dual cameras.) Its quite an interesting product to show, so we’ve decided to do a video preview for you guys. Hop over the jump to see our friendly LG rep Karen show off her 3Ds!

Alright, so there you have our quick preview of the LG Optimus 3D. If you haven’t gotten the specs yet, the phone packs a Dual-Core 1Ghz processor, 4.3” 800×480 Glasses-free 3D Screen, Dual 5MP Cameras with LED Flash, 1080p 2D video, 720p 3D video, VGA front facing camera, and all the usual Android connectivity options. When it was launched it came out with Android 2.2 Froyo, but it is upgradeable to 2.3 Gingerbread. No word if an ICS or Jelly Bean update is planned for this device, but we’ll see if LG announces anything.

However, LG has actually introduced a new version of this phone called the LG Optimus 3D Max, which you can read about here. (Also comes with a video preview.) Given that they don’t differ that much in specs and price, you might want to check out the Optimus 3D Max instead of the Optimus 3D if you can afford the extra few thousand bucks. Both are available now at the price of about PHP 24,000 for the LG Optimus 3D and SRP PHP 26,990 for the LG Optimus 3D Max. Check them out at your nearest retailers if you’re so inclined!
