Save the date! September 24, Saturday, will be the best way to start learning how to develop your own Android apps. JuAndroid.org, in cooperation with the University of Makati – College of Computer Science, will hold the Android: Glimpse To The Future Of Mobility seminar for all interested app development students (and professionals) at the University of Makati Main Theater. Yours truly, Mr. Alexei Rivera, will be one of the speakers as well as business analyst Anne Olvido, and Technoodling’s Charo Nuguid. Walk-in registration is only PHP 40, which should allow just about anybody interested in Android and some development to come in and learn something new.
JuAndroid.org is an online community for Android development made for Filipino developers. One of JuAndroid’s visions is to materialize the idea that as a mobile apps developer, local developers can still have a way to showcase their knowledge and skill sets while staying at their homeland.
This event will be open for all students who wanted to participate from University of Makati and other universities that are into application development. Industry practitioners and aspiring programmers are invited to attend this event as well.
So if you’re interested in picking up some extra knowledge around the Android ecosystem and even learn how to develop your own apps, just come by the seminar on the 24th, this Saturday. The event starts at 8AM and will go onwards to the afternoon, so come by. And if you spot us, say hi!
The event is sponsored by Smart Communications and Techgeist, Inc.
