Cherry Mobile’s Android Lineup (Prices for Magnum HD and Superion has since changed)

At the Philippine Android Community Meet-up held recently at Eton Centris Walk, Quezon Avenue, we met with a Cherry Mobile exec and he confirmed some info about their new Android lineup, namely the Cherry Cosmo and the Cherry Orbit – as well as confirming the lowered prices for the current units in stores.

The Cosmo & Orbit unannounced phones were definitely just that. They have not been announced yet. The flyers and spec sheets on their website are a precursor to the phones when they become available. And when will they be available? Well, they’re pegged for a release sometime this April. So it won’t be long before these phones will be in your hands.

What about the price drop for Magnum HD and Superion? Well, when we previously visited a Cherry Mobile store, the price drop still hasn’t rolled out to them, but it was confirmed that the price will roll out to stores soon. You’ll be saving PHP 3k for both of these devices so it will be worth the wait!

So the mystery of the two new Androids in their flyer is solved – and so did the mysterious pricing differences on the Magnum and Superion! The Technoclast Detective Agency is definitely on a roll. All that’s left now is to let the prices propagate and take these new Androids out for a spin when they come out. Jolly Good!
