The budget tablet competition in the Philippines heats up even more, now with the arrival of the Redmi Pad SE. Now, the normal price is actually PHP 9,999 but with vouchers it can go down to PHP 8,199 supposedly. We believe at the time of this writing you’d need a limited 300 PHP voucher and a flash sale, but without those you can still get it for PHP 8,699. So realistically, the 11″ tablet with SD 680 is offered for under PHP 9k. You’ll be getting a decent 90Hz refresh rate, MicroSD slot, headphone jack, and Quad Speakers too. Key things to note is that you don’t get a fingerprint sensor or cellular connectivity. Which may not be too tough for most consumers.
