Last September 14, Moneen, a Taiwanese gaming company, has launched its play to earn blockchain-based game, “Rise of Elves” with a grand launch at Ayala Mall Circuit Makati.
The game has presence and had a staggering growth in key markets including South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam. Across all markets, Rise of Elves is being played by more than 66,000 active users.
Its launch further amplifies its presence in the Philippine market, offering its play to earn concept by using cute creatures such as Elves as NFTs. The Philippines is ranked number 4 out of 26 when it comes to a 2022 report regarding NFT gaming adoption by Finder, a global fintech platform.
According to Johnson Chan, Mooneen Blockchain Architecture Development and Strategy Research Specialist, “The Philippines is the first launch market that we chosen. Besides having a substantial player base familiar with blockchain games, we also aim yo make the in-game ecosystem more vibrant by welcoming Filipino players into our community”
Rise of Elves is a play to earn blockchain game with a virtual world with NFT creatures known as Elves. These can be traded and collected through their marketplace using real money. Game modes include PVP and Adventure mode and the player can gain Rise Of Elves coins and Crystal of Element coins.
They also partnered with Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao for an exclusive in game hero design.
