Earlier this year, it is reported by different industry sources that the Legion series from Lenovo has been axed. However, numerous rumored developments with the brand has been tipped and they are reportedly working on a new tablet, the Legion Y700 2023.

Digital Chat Station tipped some of the specifications of the purported tablet. The tipster stated that it will have an 8.8-inch 2560×1600 144Hz IPS LCD panel. It is expected to be powered by a 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 coupled with up to 16GB RAM.

As for the cameras, Lenovo packed in a 13MP main shooter and a 8MP for selfies. 6550mAh is the reported rated battery capacity of the tablet with charging capabilities maxing out at 45W. Other features include an X-axis linear motor, dual stereo speakers and a large vapor chamber cooling solution.

Other details such as launch date and different features are obscure as of now, but it is interesting to hear from the Legion division after it is reported to be axed.
