The Nothing Phone (2) is rumored to come later this year

Carl Pei’s start up, Nothing, has garnered quite an online attention as they released their Nothing Phone (1). This is reminiscent of the hype what the OnePlus One brought, though not for the same reasons. The follow up of the Phone (1) is allegedly in the works and will pack in some interesting set of specifications. 

Rhe aptly rumored to be named Phone (2), has a 120Hz OLED panel like the Phone (1). Replacing the Snapdragon 778G, a Snapdragon 8 SoC is rumored to be inside. It is unclear which Snapdragon 8 will be put inside but we are hoping that it won’t be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 that had its fair share of issues in numerous flagship devices. 

Also powering the alleged Phone (2) is a 5000mAh battery, LPDDR5 RAM up to 12GB RAM and atleast UFS 3.1 up to 512GB. We suspect that the upcoming Phone (2) later this year will have a similar price tag over its predecessor.
