The realme GT Neo3 was praised on the tech media scene. It offered high price to performance ratio, decent cameras and insanely fast charging at its asking price. The rumored sequel seems to compound on that reputation according to a new report.
Weibo user experiencemore shared three competing devices on a Weibo post. These include the Redmi K60 and the OnePlus Ace 2 and the realms GT Neo5.
Eyeing on the Neo5, the handset is rumored to have the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, a 6.7″ 1220p OLED panel with 2160Hz high PWM dimming. The display panel is said to be flat and will have the 16MP selfie camera at the top center sitting inside on a punchhole cutout.
Continuing on the cameras, the device has a 50MP main sensor with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP extra shooter. It will have up to 12GB RAM and will feature a 5000mAh battery and 150W fast charging.
Key changes include the upgrade of the display from Full HD to 1220p and the switch from Dimensity 8100 to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The GT Neo5 is expected to be positioned at the premium midrange segment competing with the two devices mentioned earlier. The Neo5 is expected to be announced this February 8.
