OnePlus 11R details and specifications surface online

The OnePlus Ace has harbored controversy on the tech media space as one of the OnePlus devices without the famed alert slider. That aside, the Ace was a decent device in terms of on paper hardware specifications. The rumored Ace 2 might strengthen that notion from this new report.

Weibo user experiencemore shared three devices on the same competing price points in China, the other two are the Redmi K60 and the realme GT Neo5. Focusing on the Ace 2. The device allegedly features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a 6.7″ 1220p curved OLED display with 2160Hz high PWM dimming. The camera system will be having a Sony IMX 890 main camera, a 50MP sensor and an 8MP and 2MP shooter.

Continuing on, the handset is suspected to have up to 16GB RAM, a 16MP selfie shooter, and an under screen fingerprint scanner. For the battery, it has a 5000mAh cell within that charges at 100W.

One notable change from the Ace is the inclusion of a curved OLED screen, usually found on flagship and premium tier devices. Another is the switch from MediaTek to Qualcomm. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will be replacing the excellent MediaTek Dimensity 8100. The position of the device is expected to be at the premium midrange segment and will be facing the two competing devices.
