iQOO has been a prevalent brand in China and India as a budget, high price to performance ratio phone offering brand. With the rumors of it potentially entering the Southeast Asian market, the phonemaker has another device in the pipeline for its main market, China.
The iQOO Neo7 SE is set to gain the new MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset This is the first device to have the SoC and is a direct successor to the popular Dimensity 8100. The SoC is said to improve on CPU performance with it clocking at 3.1GHz with the same Cortex A78 cores. Digital Chat Station from Weibo has shared that the chip gains 900,000 in AnTuTu v9, just below last year’s top of the line by 11%.
Aside from the new SoC, the handset will welcomr the user with a Full HD OLED 120Hz display at 6.78″. The 16 MP selfie camera will be situated at the top of the panel. Meanwhile, the rear camera system looks to be lackluster. The main sensor is a 64MP camera with OIS, accompanying that are a pair of 2MP shooters likely for depth and macro shots.
The device will run Android 13 on top of OriginOS 3 and will be having a 5000mAh battery that charges at 120W. Storage variants include 8-12GB RAM and 128GB, 256GB and 512GB memory. Its launch date is scheduled this December 2, tomorrow.
