Honor is not a stranger in releasing top tier phones in the league of high price to performance devices and even flagship killers. Recently, they have released the Honor X40 GT targeted at that segment of the market with specifications packing in some serious punch.
Starting with its performance prowess, the Snapdragon 888 will be supplemented by up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will be cooled by a 13-layer vapor chamber cooling solution, totalling to 16,300mm² of surface area, to keep thermals at bay.
The user will enjoy a 6.81″ Full HD 144Hz IPS display with a 240Hz touch polling rate for sensitivity. The panel is having a punchhole cutout at the top center which is home to the 16MP selfie snapper. The rear camera system is composed of a 50MP main camera and a duo of 2MP cameras for macro and depth.
The device is powered by a 4800mAh battery that charges at 66W at peak, and MagicUI 6.1 on top of Android 12. Prices and storage variants are listed below. The phone will be available in Racing Black, Magic Night and Titanium Silver colorways.
As of writing, availability outside China is unknown.
