OnePlus may introduce the OnePlus 10 Ultra with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 later this year

The rumor mill has been stuffed for quite a while regarding an upcoming souped up OnePlus phone coming later this year. This new report will be compunding that, the OnePlus 10 Ultra might get introduced later this year.

Tipster Yogesh Brar stated that the upgraded OnePlus 10 Ultra will bring key improvements. One of that is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus which will be replacing the lackluster standard 8 Gen 1. He also said that OnePlus will be improving the cameras of the Ultra over the 10 Pro.

In case you haven’t known, DXOMark gave the OnePlus 10 Pro lower than expected marks in the camera department, even a two year old flagship beat it to the ranks. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 reputation isn’t pretty as well. So a OnePlus 10 Ultra that addresses both issues is a welcome to the industry.

Aside from the 10 Ultra, the tipster also tipped the upcoming vanilla OnePlus 10 which will bring either a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or a MediaTek Dimensity 9000. And he noted more Nord devices with the Dimensity 8000 series or the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
