realme’s Q lineup is very popular in China as the cost effective, high price to performance ratio devices usually retailing under 2000CNY (around PHP 16K). Now, the phonemaker is planning to reiterate the series with the realme Q5 series. The Q5 Pro, in particular, has its specifications already leaked out from multiple certifications, listings as well as confirmation from reputable tipsters.

The realme Q5 Pro is said to be nearly identical to the already existing realme GT Neo2 in terms of hardware with a minor difference.

Specifications include a 6.62″ Full HD 120Hz OLED display with HDR10+ support. Android 12 booting up the handset with a realmeUI skin. Under its visor is a still powerful yet aging Snapdragon 870 chipset. That is coupled with atleast 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

The cameras remain unchanged with a 64MP leading the triple rear shooter setup. The main sensor is backed up by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. The selfie camera on the punchhole cutout is 16MP.  The device is said to come with a 5000mAh battery now with 80W charging support, up from 65W from the GT Neo2.

Price is currently unknown from now, but it won’t be under wraps for long as the device will be unveiled this April 20 in China. Going with the realme Q2 Pro and Q3 Pro, the price should be at the 1599CNY (PHP 13K) ballpark and shouldn’t exceed 2000CNY. Realme never launched the Q series globally so availability on other regions is uncertain.
