Different sources with specifications,renders and live hands on images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. This includes an new midrange Exynos chip for the A lineup, the Exynos 1280.
The A53 dons a 6.5″ Full HD Super AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. The diagonal and the resolution equates to 407ppi in pixel density. The panel has a 20:9 aspect ratio and can spit out 420 nits of brightness.
Inside is the Exynos 1280 chipset paired with a Mali G68 GPU. Powering the SoC is a cluster of ARM Cortex A78 and A55 cores at a 2+6 configuration with max speeds at 2.4GHz. The four core GPU is pegged at 1GHz. With the SoC, the device is also equipped with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
For photos and videos, the 64MP main shooter with OIS will be manhandling the work. This is assisted with a 12MP ultrawide camera and two 5MP shooters for macro and depth capabilities. Its 32MP selfie camera is assigned for the selfie photos and videos.
Running on the handset is Android 12 on top of OneUI 4.1, Samsung’s skin. Supplying it with power is a 5000mAh power pack with 25W charging support. The device does not come with a power brick on the retail packaging.
Its launch date is expected to be this March 17, price rumors hover around 500$ for the handset.
