Recently, thanks to our writer Ray Kyle, we’ve learned that Coolpad is bringing their budget smartphones in the Philippines starting with the Coolpad Cool 20. We saw it on Shopee for only PHP 5,999 and we thought the specs were definitely way higher than most phones in that price range, so we decided to buy one to unbox and preview. Anyway, what do you think of the Coolpad Cool 20? We’re quite surprised that in terms of value, it beats even Xiaomi or Infinix which have managed to lower prices and increase specs in recent months.

We’re also looking forward for newer Coolpad models but if they’re priced to sell like the Cool 20, it’ll definitely be interesting.
